Honoring All Who Served

For more than two decades, the Compton Veterans Stand Down has brought together government agencies, healthcare providers, nonprofit organizations, businesses, volunteers, and community leaders with one shared purpose: ensuring that veterans receive the services, resources, and recognition they have earned through their service to our nation.

A Community United in Service

The Compton Veterans Stand Down is made possible through the commitment of numerous public agencies, veteran service organizations, healthcare providers, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, businesses, faith-based organizations, and dedicated volunteers. Their continued partnership demonstrates what can be accomplished when an entire community comes together in support of those who have served.

Each year, hundreds of volunteers and dozens of organizations contribute their time, expertise, and resources to ensure that veterans are welcomed with dignity, respect, and appreciation.

How You Can Help

Community involvement is essential to the continued success of the Stand Down. There are many ways to support the event:

  • Volunteer during the event

  • Become a sponsor or community partner

  • Donate goods or services

  • Refer veterans who may benefit from available resources

  • Help spread awareness throughout the community

Together, we can continue building a stronger network of support for the men and women who have served our country.

Serving Those Who Served

The Compton Veterans Stand Down is more than an annual event—it is a community commitment to honoring the sacrifices of America's veterans while connecting them with the resources that help improve lives throughout the year.

We look forward to welcoming veterans, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners as we continue this important tradition of service.
