The latest count identified 2,257 veterans experiencing homelessness—793 fewer than in 2025 and approximately 42% below the 2023 estimate. Improved outreach, coordinated case management, and expanding VA housing are helping, but continued local support, referrals, Stand Down events, and housing assistance remain essential.
