The Every Veteran Heard Foundation invites veterans and one guest to its Sixth Annual Veterans Day Celebration on November 7, 2026, from 1–6 p.m. at Santa Ana Elks Lodge #794, 1751 S. Elks Lane. Driving Safely With Hearing Loss: Resources and Support for Southern California Veterans
Hearing loss does not automatically prevent veterans from driving safely. With appropriate hearing care, visual-alert technology, defensive-driving habits and a traffic-stop communication plan, veterans can maintain their independence. Southern California resources include VA audiology services, the Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness and local Hearing Loss Association chapters offering treatment, advocacy, education and support.
